No One's Coming

No one’s coming.

No one.

No one’s coming to tell you to go to bed earlier, to quit scheduling so much in one day or to dump that friend who is toxic.

No one’s coming to help you release those pounds, eat that broccoli or put down those cigs or extra cocktail.

No one’s coming to help you show up for work on time or get you to your annual doctor’s appointment.

No one’s coming and the world keeps turning. So it’s a good time to sit down and take inventory of what you need to do to fill up your own cup. Sit down and use mindfulness to begin to make choices that help you rather than hurt you! Take back control of your life so you can overflow with maturity and kindness to all those around you.

No more blame games. Take 100% responsibility for your own life. Put down the magnifying glass and pick up the mirror and/or the phone and ask for help. Reevaluate your life and do the things that make a better “you” and a better world.

No one’s coming so treat yourself better. Take that nap, take that minute and take your time. Be kind to yourself and others. Love more and more often. And believe you have everything you already need because you do.

Just try it for a little while… and watch yourself move from a victim to a victorious example of what it’s like to become a healthy and happy adult.

It’s up to you because no one is coming!

PS. It’s up to you to sign up for Susan Foxley’s monthly workshop to learn a plethora of tools to help you along your journey. It’s once a month and it may increase happiness, so buyer beware!
